Saturday Silliness - ROCK THE SOUND

Did you hear me?

It's time for ROCK THE SOUND!

I've been waiting all year for this event, and today is the day. You've heard me talk about it, but what is it?

...is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting ALL types of Christian music concerts on or near the Long Island Sound. The goal of these concerts is to support various Christian churches, ministries, charities and artists and ultimately to help many to know and love Jesus Christ.

In short, RTS strives to bring Christian music to the northeast. We've done events large and small, from a few hundred people in a club to pack arenas in Bridgeport and Amherst to historic venues in the heart of Manhattan. RTS acts have included Newsboys, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Audio Adreneline, David Crowder Band, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch and more.

This year's flagship event will feature the Newsboys on the last stop of their two-year Go tour, DC*B, Skillet, Leeland and Nevertheless. If you're going to be in New England today, drive down and see this. If not... well, I'll tell you all about it on Monday.
