Billy Graham might prove me wrong.

The other day, I kind of went on a little rant about how Christian movies are basically sub-standard. But there is a movie coming out that has promise.

Billy: The Early Years hits theaters on November 10. And while the role of Billy Graham will be played by relative newcomer Armie Hammer, the cast will be rounded out with Academy-award winner Martin Landau (for all you Space:1999 fans), bionic-woman and sleep-number guru Lindsay Wagner, and CSI: New York and Shark alum Stefanie Butler. Directing the film is actor/director/author/composer Robbie Benson.

The soundtrack will feature Brooks and Dunn, Sara Evans, Josh Turner (who's in the film) and Third Day vocalist Mac Powell singing Johnny Cash's "Over the Next Hill."

From what I've seen from clips and trailers, this looks to be a good, well produced film about the early life of one of the world's most influential man. It is said that Billy Graham has spoken to more people face to face than any man in history. He certainly deserves a good film to be made about his amazing life.

Stay tuned here for more info.
