Sunday Setlist - December 31

Wow, what an amazing weekend. We had so much music, I don't know where to start.

Saturday night, in spite of terrible weather, we held our annual Christmas Cantata. We had music from the worship team, Send Judah First choir, and both of our children's ministries. We did an original drama that incorporated three songs:

Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer) (Jonas)
The Coming of the King (Mahoney)
Here is Our King (Crowder)

Sunday morning - more bad weather. Snow and freezing rain. But that didn't stop a great service with great music. Our worship set:

O Come All Ye Faithful (Oakley/Wade)
Angels We Have Heard on High (Barnes/Chadwick)
Awesome God (Mullins)
Joy to the World (Watts/Mason)
How Great is Our God (Tomlin/Reeves/Cash)
We're Blessed (Hammond/Walker)

The first two we did pretty traditionally. "Awesome God" we made a little rocked out. Same with "Joy to the World." Everyone seemed to like it.

"We're Blessed" is a choir song, but we decided to do it for the offerings. Everyone loves this song, and the choir hasn't done it in a while, so why not. The song went on long after the plate was done being passed.

Send Judah First did another set today, including this really nice medley of "Go Tell it on the Mountain" and "O Come All Ye Faithful."
After you watch, check out Fred McKinnon's blog for more setlists.
